333 mhz is not overclocking teh processor, the psp's processor was designed to run at 333 mhz, but sony downclocked it to 222 mhz to increase battery life. It's like buying a pentium m @ 1.5 ghz and downclocking it to 1 ghz to save your laptops battery life. and personally, i dont think itl make a big difference in the processors lifespan |
