Hey everyone, this is my first guide and is mainly aimed at noobs so please correct me and be as honest as possible to teach me what i did wrong or right. Thanks
AutoPopstation4 is a very simple bat. application that allows the user to rip PSX discs and convert them to eboot, allowing them to be played on PSP.
Through this guide I will show how to use this handy app. Ok, here goes..
YOU MUST HAVE 3.XX OE FIRMWARE TO USE THIS: RECCOMENDATION - 3.40 OE-A
1. Download AutoPopstation4 from here -
File Details- -
2. Once the download is complete, extract folder to a destination of your choice. Inside the folder should be the following four folders/files
-CoreData Folder
-Result Folder
-AutoPopstation4.bat
-ReadMe.txt
You can always stop here and view the readme, or you can carry on reading

.
3. Ok, so now you've got the files, double-click on the AutoPopstation4.bat.
Read the options given. At this stage, the first thing to do is run the first option '1> Create An ISO From CD?'. So hit 1 then enter.
4. At this stage ISO Producer will pop up and the bat. should give on screen instructions on how to set the CD drive and such. Don't worry, this is the first and last time you will have to run this setup.
5. At this stage I suggest restarting AutoPopstation4. The Options will be the same as before, only the initial first time setup doesn't need to run. You can either select one of these options, or go right ahead and press choice one again to rip your PSX game.
MAKE SURE TO SAVE THE ISO IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS AUTOPOPSTATION4
6. Ok so when the PSX game is ripped, close the ISO Producer and refer back to the AutoPopstation4.bat. Then select choice 2...
*IF YOU FIND YOUR ISO IS NOT SHOWING UP ON THE LIST GIVEN, MAKE SURE THE ISO CREATED IS SAVED IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS THE AUTOPOPSTATION4.BAT**
7. A list of the ISO's you have in the directory will now be shown, do exactly as shown and make no mistakes. (Don't worry if you do, it's just annoying as you will have to do this stage over).
This is my example:
-Type the full name of the iso/bin you wish to use:
So if I had HotWheels.iso on the list, I would type 'HotWheels.iso'.
-Please type the name of the game:
You may now name the game what ever you wish e.g. hot wheels
-Please enter part of the game name:
You have just got to type the full name of the game now e.g. hot wheels turbo racing. If you enter the name wrong, you will get a result called
'---------- BASE4.DAT.' Don't worry, just press y then enter. This will allow you to type it again correctly.
If done correctly, you should get a list of PS1 GameID's, find the one that has the correct name of your game next to it . e.g.
'SLES01234 ~ Hot Wheels Turbo Racing'
Press n then enter.
-Please type the game code (The bit before the ~)
At this stage just type in the code found next to your gameGameID) Then press enter.
-Please type how much to compress the ISO, 0 through 9.
Depending on size, speed and quality, the best compression is 6 as it is conidered neutral ( The best of both).
-Type "" to use PSP DocMaker GUI, or "D" to use CoreData\DocMakerImages.
Press G if you plan to make your own instructions, or D to use a ready made image instead for the manual screen.
-Please confirm all values are correct
Thats right, almost there ! just press y then enter.
8. Congratulations! Your PSX game is now ready for use ! There should now be a folder in the Results folder e.g. hot wheels (As I previously named the game)
Now all that has to be done is move the 'hot wheels folder' into MSROOT/PSP/GAME directory. When this is done, go to MemoryStick on the PSP, and select your game!
I hope this has helped anybody who needed help with this, if there are any necessary changes please let me know !
