2. With age comes injuries...i know D wade is young so hes an exception, but thats a one man show right there. J will will get older as he has many years in the league already. Age is not the main point, its how much you have played in the league, and if Dwade has to carry the team, he wont be able to do it withh another man ie healthy larry hughes. Unless a miracle happens, Shaq will most definatley miss some games like has done the past 2 years. Hes a big man...and big men dont stay in the league as long as your point guard. Face it, the diesel is running out of fuel.
3. I mis typed what i mean...shaq is not as big a threat anymore. Yes he will be drawing double teams but with a zone you can draw over that second man without reallly leaving someone wide open. Hes missed a total of 63 gmaes the past 2 years....and you expect him to get magically better? The diesel can get you 12-15 points 7 boards....but is that really enough to call him a big threat?
4. What is your basis on the pistons not going anywhere? Same team...more youth and development...same chemistry? How will they be worse other than injuries hitting them even though they have had next to no injuries over the last five years. That made you look like a total dumbass as you counted emotional distress as the reason they wont get far
5. YOu mean if the heat were younger. Gilbert arenas is not a one man show...Caron butler, Antwon Jamison, hayes, thomas, and daniels are true legitamate players. I mean caron was an ALL Star and JAmison stil is an all star calibar player. I see them as a bigger threat to the pistons than the aging heat. Do you realize how young the bulls are. They will just keep getting better and better and even a healthy wade would have put a fight but wouldnt have won that series alone.
YEa the pistons lost in the east finals to the cavs...but they just had a bad series and chancey wasnt himself. With a mix of that and bad calls and a no name guy named boobie....i dont see that as a concern....i see it as just bad luck |
#1 I know what a PGs role is in the game but Smush can still play the 2 when D-Wade is gone and play the 1 when Wade's back in the game. All he needs is practice and with Pat Rilley, J-Will and D-Wade there to mentor him he should be fine. His best years have probably yet to come, just watch him in the future.
#2 So your saying Detroit or any other team isn't prone to injury. What about if the the Spurs lose Tim Duncan, what would happen to them? Or if your Pistons lost Chauncy? Did you ever think of that?
#3 Ok how does Shaq missing supposedly 63 games affect his performance in a new NBA season. All I've got to say is your a moron.
#4 Listen retard, you can win as many games as you want during the regular season but that doesn't mean shit unless you can produce better results in the postseason where the level of intensity and emotion is much higher. If you read any of the newspapers and/or watched any tiny morsel of Sports News during the Heat's championship year the many say the Pistons lost to the Heat because they fell apart due to the Ben Wallace feud with Flip Saunders coupled with the fact they were emotionally and physically drained from the previous 7 game series where they beat the Cavaliers. It was either that or the Pistons just plain sucked!
#5 Obviously you can't read, so let me re-emphasize IF THEY WERE EVER HEALTHY LAST YEAR THE HEAT WOULD CREAM ANY OF THOSE TEAMS. The Wizards without Arenas are nothing. To be a legitimate player you have to be consistent and Caron Butler as well as Antawn Jamison do not fit that bill, so the Hibachi is a one man team Deshawn Stevenson doesn't do shit either. The Bulls I have to give them credit because they are a legitimate contender with their uptempo style of play, but they just don't have enough playoff experience. And all I've got to say about the Pistons is, they were beaten by the Cavs...Wow!
