i just finished having mine work on my slim 3.71 m33-2 and what you need to do is after you've extracted the main file "s9xTYL-0.4.2" to your hard drive, open it up and go to the "3.x" folder, open that up and you'll get "snes9xTYL" now just copy/paste put that directly in your psp "game" folder and then save the roms under the folder already in that file and you should be set.
TBH is working a little slow for me so i trying to figure out whats wrong, i don't know its the memory stick or the processor, but the actual emulator works great and option menu in it, but playing the games might be a little slow, let me know your results, i tried Killer Instinct for snes and it looked great but was slow, good luck.
