Hahaha, when I read your title all I was was "I have Spirits Within on DVD, help."

Anyway, use a program to "rip" the DVD to your computer. I use Xilisoft, but I know there are some freeware programs out there. Smartripper is supposed to be pretty good. Once its ripped you just need to convert the .mpg or .avi to .mp4. .mp4s can be read by the PSP off of your memory stick.
Note: Xilisoft's program will convert from DVD to .mp4, so you can skip that step, but I'm not sure if Smartripper will.

About the language issue you're having...I know for Xilisoft I have to choose the language in the top-left corner when I start. What program are you using?
