Default ::GUIDE TO::ManHunt 2

first off, this is not a guide on how to beat it!!!!! beat the game yourself (its better that way or download a 100% game save)

this guide will tell you how to shrink the ISO size of manhunt 2 so that it can fit on a 1gb memory stick or even a 512MB memory stick!!!!!!
i know unbelievable right? well keep reading!

WARNINGS:
1)Your your own Manhunt 2 UMD (dont be a pussy, buy the game)
2)This is for educational purposes and i dont care what you do with it as it is for educational use ONLY
3)Don's steal credit for my posts!!!

ok, with all that said, lets get started with the actual tutorial lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
haha another great tutorial from me (Midian)
this tutorial will teach you how to shrink the ISO size of manhunt 2 so that it may fit on a 1gb memory stick or even a 512MB stick!!!!

Organization:
------------
1)Materials
2)Process
3)Downloads

well, the organization is done so lets get started!

Material:
---------
A copy of Manhunt 2 (USE YOUR OWN, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU MY ISO)
A PSP with either 1.50 or custom firmware (i use 3.71M33-2 on my PSP Slim)
A Memory Stick (512Mb+)
A Mini USB Cable (lol)
An Internet connection (lol)

now that you have this, we can continue to the process.

Process:
---------
1)Rip your copy of manhunt 2 (here is the method i used)
--downloaded that recovery.prx......the LE style recovery prx)
--Toggled USB as UMD
--Connected the PSP
--Open the drive
--Copied the UMD ISO to my Desktop

now that you have that down, time for step 2

2)Download UMDgen 4.00 (see downloads)
3)Download the Manhunt 2 auto patcher (see downloads)
4)Download MY LVSETUP.INI and my GLVLSET.INI edits (again, see downloads)

5)Create a folder on your desktop called "Manhunt"
6)Extract the auto patcher to this folder

7)Extract UMDgen to your desktop and run it
8)Drag and drop your ISO to UMDgen
9)DON'T do any customizations to this YET......just save the untouched ISO as "original.iso" (NO quotes)

10)place the newly made "original.iso" in your Manhunt folder with the auto patcher
11)Start the auto patcher and press any key to start the compression
12)After a while it will finish and give you 2 items:
--ripped.iso
--udm9660.cso

NOTE: your file names may be different than mine but it is OK. also, you will notice that the memory has been extremely decreased from 1.20GB to about 500MB!!!!!

13)Now drag and drop the "ripped.iso" into UMDgen.

14)extract the edited files on to your Desktop

15)On UMDgen, click on PSP_GAME
16)Then USRDIR
17)Then Global
18)Look for a file called "LVSETUP.INI" and delete it
19)Now open the edits folder and open the lvsetup folder
20)move the LVSETUP.INI file from their, to the UMDgen Global folder

21)Now go back to the root of the folder (the edits folder)

22)On UMDgen, select USRDIR again
23)Then on the right, select LEVEL

24)From this point, your going to have to delete a file called "GLVLSET.INI" on ALL 16 folders and replace them with the GLVLSET.INI in the correct folder.

(example: you delete the glvlset.ini the A01_ES and replace it with the glvlset.ini in the A01_ES folder in the edits folder and keep doing so until all 16 folders have their glvlset.ini replaced)

25)After thats done, save your ISO as an uncompressed ISO with any name you want.

26)plug in your psp with the memory stick enabled
27)go into your drive and the ISO folder
28)and just add your just created ISO and your done!!!!
