Im having some trouble playing XviD movies through PSPlayermt.

I followed this guide: http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-mis...-dvds-psp.html (how to backup high quality dvds to psp)

But:

When i convert a movie, just as in the instructions here, it comes out with a file name like VTS_01_1.XviD.avi Would this mean it is an .avi??

Using psplayermt i can get mp4's to play tho. Just not the ones i converted using winmenc.

What happens is it gets to the stage of 'waiting for video to be initialized. ###' the number will reach anywhere between 200-600 and just stop, then the PSP turns off!!

What is happening?
