so i was at a different guitar shop today. tried a few ibanez, dont know which kind, and i hated them. the necks were square and thick and the pickups were crappy sounding but these were cheap ibanez, like around 150 each. tried an epiphone les paul and it was decent. then picked up the gibson les paul and it blew my mind away. i realized i hate V shaped guitars, i played a jackson RR5, esp ltd alexi-600, gibson flying v, and an ibanez xiphos 7 string. i hate the v shape, but all of those had nice necks and roared. i played a few different teles and strats but mine felt better but mine also hums worse than those. im still going to the otehr shop on tuesday so i will mess around with more then.
