have dvd rip downloaded-- how to i convert to watch on dvd player?
Okay this is to distinguish this misconstrude facts about copyright...
If you legitimately own the DVD/VHS you have every right to make a copy for future reference...What you don't have a right to do is sell it or even watch it outside the comfort of your home...Although this isn't necessarily legal, it isn't necessarily illegal either...After all, if this was illegal, why all the software to make it? Does this mean that if I "buy" the software it's illegal because of the softwares' purpose even though I bought it?
Downloaded audio can also be used without consequence providing it's used for non-profit purposes...For example, A DJ may use downloaded audio all he/she wishes however, the minute they make a profit from it, they are liable for criminal consequences...Now depending on where you downloaded the audio from, it may very well be illegal...Limewire and Bearshare are examples of illegal downloading...Napster and iTunes are examples of legal downloading since the respective companies bought the license to share them...Same can be said for any and all media...
So in conclusion, it all depends on how you went about obtaining the downloaded media if it is illegal or not...
