Simple guide there psp4lyf, but you fail to mention about the avc side of mpeg4.

These avc codec files can only go in the 101ANV01 folder, these file types start with MAQ, normal mp4 files start with M4V.

Also you can put these M4V files in the VIDEO folder and they will work. Either with or without a .thm file, you can also name the M4V file whatever you like eg spiderman.m4v and it will show on the psp. Depending on which firmware its running.
