I had the same partition errors, but after a lot of random formatting and crap I got the, "Write MS Boot code" or whatever it was; which means I did it right, correct?

Anyways, onto the battery portion. This is compatible with the slim PSP's, correct? Mine says: 3.6V 1200mAH.

Edit: Bah, have to buy a new battery. Newb mistake, exacto knife knicked the surface of the actual battery while opening it and =x smoke started coming out. I'd take it I shorted out the battery or killed it.
