Effectively, the magic memory stick will work on any firmware, unless I'm really out of the loop. To reuse the memory stick, formatting it on the PSP should do the trick!
To be honest, I have no idea about this part. I just opened up a Slim battery myself, and may have messed it up. I'm sorry I can't be of any help there... However, when you say NOTHING happened, do you mean the screen didn't light up, or did you check the power light, as well? The PSP Slim with the pandora battery and memory stick mods blind--it does all the work on a blank screen. The only way you can tell it's ready to begin is if you stick in the battery and get a green light for power without flipping the switch. When it ends the light goes out.
I really apologise if this is all information you knew, I just wanted to help in any way I could. Good luck! |
its not blind, you just need a multiboot ipl which means you can hold the L button on boot, then you could see it, trust me i have a slim
