I didn't use popsloader or anything. Just threw the eboots into the game folder like any other game... and FF7 has been working flawlessly. Should I expect the game to have issues in the future?? I'm just confused, a game with its own "fix" thread working perfectly seems too good to be true.

Thanks.
Seeing as you have the most up-to-date CFW, it's possible that they've updated PSX game compatibilities. That said, they may have fixed some bugs for FF:VII.

However, as it may work right now, I can't guarantee it will stay that way. I don't think anyone will can actually guarantee anything, since the game hasn't been tested on newest CFW like your's.

So just play on and hope that all goes well. If worse comes to worse, you can always just install PopsLoader.
