Running Isos and PSX EBOOTs
Hello everyone, I seem to be having a problem running Isos (legal backups, I promise) and PSX EBOOT files on my psp. I'm running custom firmware 3.90 m33, and I have installed POPS loader version 3.72. First of all, when I try editing a psp iso, to install the custom background and icon that is diplayed on the XMB, my iso will not run. I get an error stating that the game could not be started. Yet, without any kind of editing on my part, the iso (.cso) runs fine. This goes further on with my psx isos that I have converted into EBOOT files. Without customizing the background and icon images, the EBOOT runs perfectly, but when I edit them, I get the same error message. I have searched all over the web and I couldn't find anyone that had the same problem as I have. Does anyone know what my PSP is up to? Thanks for any and all the help.
More information that may be needed:
* I used IceTea to convert my PSX isos into EBOOT files out of my own personal copy.
*I have a UMD inside the PSP when trying to run the PSP isos and EBOOT files.
*It is not just one game that is doing this, I have tried it on 4 different games.
*Both advanced configuration properties are disabled.
*I'm running the 3.90 Kernel.
Thanks again everyone. |
