The idea of a pair of headphones distorting time (tempo) seems kind of odd. The PSP is the player and outputs a signal for sound, whether headphones are present or not. The fact that you plug in headphones makes no change to the way the music is actually played. The quality of the headphones change how the sound is reproduced, but can't actually change the speed. Sennheiser makes awesome headphones. For headphones, I'd only recommend Sennheiser, and Shure for earbuds.

Just seems like many people are making recommendations on earphones, when they know absolutely nothing about sound quality, based on the people suggesting SkullCandy. Some of them look alright, and many of their models have built in support for 2.5mm (cell phones) and 3.5mm (mp3/cd players) which is a nice feature, but sound quality wise they're kind of jacked.
