@LEVANITJ: That's exactly what it's supposed to do. doesn't seem right does it? well it just stays on for as long as you have the battery in. Now's the time to put in the magic memory stick and voila! a CFW flashed PSP!

If I am right about FAARIS JUMAN in that his battery shorted out, it will have almost no juice left. plug in the charger while you down-/upgrade to your CFW and everything should be fine.
