Well, solder prodcues a residue that can (low chance) prevent connectivity. Also, those tabs might be coated. I would use a small wire brush to clean the solder points, use some flux also. It might be better to solder a wire across the break as opposed to globs ot solder also. Not sure which auge would be best if any. |
