What exactly is your reasoning that no other emulator can be as good as Project 64? I know of quite a few other N64 emulators that can easily compete with it, and some of them have even been updated recently. The same can't be said about Project 64. Even if it is the best one out there, the team would have to jump the same hurdles that StrmnNrmn has in getting N64 games playable on the PSP. And the main reason Project 64 is so good is because it has the vast power of the PC platform at its command. There's absolutely no reason to expect it to be just as good if it were ported to PSP.

Besides that, I don't get why you would propose such an idea considering how long it has been since the last public release by the Project 64 team. Even Daedalus has had a more recent update (November of last year, not counting the unofficial R14 "beta" compiled from SVN).
