Well I have Vista, and I think, like someone else said, its trendy to hate Vista. It really isn't all that bad, it does have quite a bit more flaws in it than XP does, and I do get more stupid small problems, e.g. Windows Explorer stops responding because I used the volume wheel on the outside of my lappy instead of clicking to change it. If you have the proper system specs, and tweak the services, you can get your Vista Computer to go from completely off to desktop in less than one minute. I've done it! Overall, I prefer Ubuntu over Vista though...
