Default Pandora battery and TA88v3.

I have regarding the Pandora battery and dreaded TA88v3 motherboard.

I have read around that the "pandora process" used to downgrade and install CFW will not work on PSP's with the TA88v3 motherboard.

Specifically, what I would like to confirm, is whether a properly made jigkick/pandora battery will, when inserted, used with their respective proprietary button combinations, make a PSP boot into that black screen I've seen on Youtube guides and such.

Where I stand, is that I've attempted to make a Pandora battery out of original Sony Slim battery, PSP-S110; Ive cut through the trace located near the nineteen down halfway through the board, I've also removed the leg on the chip that the trace leads too, and, upon inserting the battery, the PSP does NOT automatically turn on. Instead, when the power switch is toggled, the PSP boots into the XMB normally, as though the battery was not even touched.

Before I throw some more money out the window for a factory made jigkick battery, I would like to confirm the answer to the question above; reiterated here: will a properly made jigkick battery make a PSP with the TA88v3 start up into the recovery/developer mode with the blank screen?

Thanks to anyone who is willing to venture an answer to my question.
