If that was true, it sure isnt now. I have watched every single as is auction for slim PSP's end in the last month. The best deal I got on one was 90. Right now, they mostly sell for over 100.
This is the cheapest one I've been watching right now and its at 60ish. I bet it goes for way more than that AND this one needs a new screen which is $40. Not much of a deal.
