The PSP is not at me at the moment, I will give it a go once I got it back.
Sadly not, he did not transfer the metal squares at the USB port and kept giving the same lame excuse that the things will not fit my new case. He also broke my original R button's conductor and had to replace with a third-party one, now I can't stop thinking I could have done a better job myself. |
Ya you should only need to take off the faceplate. I have one sitting here in front of me with no faceplate on, and it looks like I have full access to the trim to remove it. The little metal squares pop out if you push from the front with a small screwdriver.
I hope you didnt pay too much for this service. You should have just done it yourself. I hope you still have your old parts so you can get the threaded squares and trim off. You'd have to pull pretty hard to break the R button piece. Sounds like he didnt have much experience working with PSPs.
