There are a few reasons for the slot cover not working. If youve got the clear case you should be able to see inside. Are the flexible parts hitting anything inside? If the slot assembly is not seating down far enough, it will actually hit the mem card slot itself. Ive alos had the rubber part itself start coming off the plastic cover, part, were you can see the 8 small legs of the cover go into the flexible part. Any of that help? |
I fixed the memory slot thanks to your help but I still have no luck in transfering the metal pieces, there is a plastic UMD door locking thing blocking them at the back, and it looks like I would need to remove not only the faceplate to transfer them.
EDIT: My start button is not responding anymore, it worked before i took out the face plate, it clicks properly but the games won't respond to it. Any idea before I go look for replacement parts? :|
