@datdrewboy: What exactly was the role of WinRAR and UMDGen anyway? You also put the ISO folder on the root of the memory stick, correct? What format is the iso (i.e. is it *.iso, *.dax, *.cso)? some people use the term "iso" very loosely. if it's in one of the above formats, just put that file in the ISO folder. If not, you need to give us some info about the game's format. either way, keep us updated.
