Default How-To: Switchable Pandora PSP-Slim Battery (Hard-Mod)

Hi eveyone. Today is my first time on the site. Excellent guide. Here's my story,

I've got a PSP 2000 w/sony firmware 5.01 & i've never modded my psp before. I'm using windows Vista. (the only reason i mention vista is while creating my magic memory card, i got a few error messages along the way, but at the end it still said It had completed) Should it still work, or do i have to find an xp machine?

So far i've cracked open my battery (think i've done a bang up job ) Before i start soldering, I just want to be clear on one thing. I don't have a switch or a second battery. Based on what i've read in this form so far, is my best bet to bridge the 2 contact points with a wire & then after pandora has done it's thing, remove the wire?

If my batter becomes a perminant pandora, can the PSP still be used? Or am I looking at buying a second battery.

Thanks so much everyone,
