not unless u have a fat psp with firmware older than 3.01, but pandora's battery will help you in the long run. If you brick you psp, it will fix it. If you don't feel comfortable making your own, you can order one. Like pspmod has a shop, I've never tried it, but I never heard anything bad about it.
