To much at stake. Wrong pin = Battery shutting off randomly (it happened to me), Short circuit (Battery starts to smoke and can hurt or ruin your PSP slim or phat dont matter)
ON the other hand if you have a compatible battery (pandorable) that you just have laying around and you know how to convert it, then your in luck.
Although, i dont trust pandora sellers
. Because some sell you duds or fakes and you loose about average of $20 - $25 (shipping cost not included in the estimate!)

I myself just gotten an official battery for $14.95, so that i can just convert it myself since i know how to convert it after a lot of research
