what firmware are you on right now?
If it's 1.5 or 1.0 if your lucky DO NOT upgrade
Thos version right now can run homebrew which can do everything the 2.0 update does and more
The only thing the 2.0 gives you is a web browser (homebrew browsers have been out for a while), picture background (can be done with PSpersonalize), it also adds some support for other music/video/picture types which can also be done via homebrew
But if you have any firmware past 1.5 I would recommend upgrading to 2.0 because it has a better chance of getting cracked over 1.51 and 1.52 and if you do go for the 2.0 try and get the japense version from july it is supposed to still have exploits that the new 2.0 fixed if you cant find a copy of the july japense 2.0 id be happy to send you a copy of mine |
