UMD dumper

I have 2 UMD rippers one is called "umddaxdumper02" and the other is "711umddump2". Can someone tell me what one is the better one and how do you use this umd dumper? I want to copy one of my brothers games for psp.

well what I reckon is the best umd dumper is fastloader: this also allows you to play (for example) fifa 2006 [ a 2.0 game] on a 1.5 psp.

ok but will it copy a file from the disc so i have a copy of the game and does is work on 3.03oe-a'/2

yes fastloader works, I use it, I think its the most popular as well. you might need to combine the 1.5 Eboot into the 1.0 version if it doesn't work.

want to dump a UMD, but put fastloader on and it just shows up as corrupt.Runnin on 3.02 custom, any ideas.Put it in the 150 folder, dunno what thats all about?.

i just posted up there saying "you might need to combine the 1.5 Eboot into the 1.0 version if it doesn't work."

well unfortunately you don't always get what you wish,
First you need PSPBrew to combine the 1.5 into 1.0, just convert it using the convert 1.50>1.00 and put in the respective eboots into the selections and click convert.
then you need PHP unpacker then you upack the file, the eboot you just made, and repack them into a new PHP. Use this Tutorial to understand how to do it. http://www.pspmod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=934 (Hello Everyone)
You need to extract Icon0.png, and Data.psp from the eboot you made after combining it to 1.0
Open a working eboot (from some other homebrew that does work on the xmb) and extract its Param.sfo.
Pack the new param.sfo with the icon0.png and data.psp from you previous conversion.
Use PSPBrew to open the Final eboot and rename the title from whatever eboot you took the param.sfo to Fastloader

this is while its on the psp right or do this first then copy it over?
Or does that matter?

you do it first then copy it over but as i edited somethings not right in the process. you can DL it from maxconsole it works. but i still want to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
