gta custom soundtracks

does anyone know how to get this to work, i think it will only work with copyrighted music but im not for sure

ok, put ur mp3s in the music folder of your psp, then load up gta, go to audio, then click on custom soundtrack, sorry i didnt test it yet, im puttin songs in the music folder right now, but i think thats how
if it doesnt work, ill edit this within mins

got it This afternoon I received an email from Matt Sullivan of Velocitymicro.com who claims that he phoned Rockstar Games and asked about the custom soundtrack support for Liberty City Stories. The email contained the following:

I called R* this morning and spoke to a chap named Daniel. Danny Boy informed me that R* didn't decide to include the feature until the last minute, after hearing the positive response from fans about the rumor it may be included. He said the the developers are working out a way to implement the feature, which will most likely come in the form of a download from the R* site. He said to keep checking the R* site, or call back to get updates...but that it shouldn't be very long.

This could most likely be the reason why Liberty City Stories has been delayed in the UK and Australia. That this feature will be already included in their versions. Most stores in the UK and around Europe are listing the game as a November 4th release. Sources in Australia are now reporting that the game will only be available on November 11th in their country.

As of this moment, you can't use the custom soundtrack feature. I've heard that rockstar is going to release some kind of patch to activate it. Hopefully they won't make it so you can only dowload tracks from them to use in game.

My good friend Laz of GTAUnderground.com has just gotten off the phone with Rockstar, who confirmed that the Custom Soundtrack support in Liberty City Stories was added at the †œlast minuteââ‚Ã⠀šÃ‚¬Ãƒâ€š? and that they donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t have any information on it at the moment. He was advised to †œkeep checking the official siteââ‚ ¬Ã‚? which leads me to belive that Rockstar will be issuing some sort of patch for the game which enables the custom music.

This may even be the reason for the European delay - what if the UK promoter decided itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢d sell better with custom soundtracks in? It is a possibility that theyââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ve held it back to allow the patch to be added to all UK copies, although that would suggest that an American patch would be available now.

Patches and addons for PSP games arenââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t uncommon, with many first party titles having additional content made available via the internet, like Wipeout Pureââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Gamma Packs. Hopefully weâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll know just how to get our own music into the game soon - I know a lot of you arenââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t particularly fond of the current Liberty City Stories soundtrack!
