I am up to the burning desert level and you have to do the little task in the beginning of the level. Getting fever is a piece of cake and so is the x-xx-xx but then I have to play a series of beats and I swear I get them all correct and it just makes me do it over and over again. What are you suppose to do and how do you know if your doing something wrong?

i assume you are talking about when the screen goes all blue and watery. You just have to play the beats at the same speed they do. I think there's like 10 little groups of notes and you must get at least 2 in a row out of every group in order for it to count. I can't really give you any tricks, just try to be in a quiet place. You get one drum beat after they finish a section to begin drumming. It's actually very forgiving if you miss a note you can quickly hit the button again and it will give it to you sometimes.

Make sure you are hitting "Pon" (The O button) and not Don (the X Button). I made this simple mistake when trying to do the rain miracle and thought something was wrong...if you do the current beat right, the words on the screen will turn into spiral and that spiral will be put at the top of the screen. if you miss, you wont see that...
