GOD OF WAR: really wierd & gay

I have the GOW umd & the demo on my MS. now i've noticed that in the demo you have a L-X combo, (pressing the L trigger & X) But in my umd I dont unlock it, f.y.i, I my chains R maxed out. that is so gay cause that was 1 of my favorite combos.

well, the attack buttons are O and /\ so use L with those. and the game is not wierd and gay. just because you cant use one of your combos is no reason to flame it

Have you beaten the Game yet?
Maybe its got something to do with another Item, Maybe you just missed it,
Maybe they Decided not to use it, Maybe Your just bitching becuse you cant beat it, and you need something to blame it on, Maybe, your the one whos really weird and gay?

guess what?, I DID BEAT THE GAME ON NORMAL & GOD MODE, dont get me wrong ive waited all my time wanting to play GOW but couldn't cuz no ps2. now if u guys can, go download the demo from the playstation store and see for youselves. i know X is used for jump thats why that L and X combo stuck out to me. and im sure that its not another combo combination in the game such as L and /\

Okay, I was going to disagree with Joey102 about the difference but he's completely right. I just tried the demo and the actual game to see and their is an extra move taken out for no real reason. The L + x combo swipes the enemies into the air very quickly and then you can grab them or w/e. One can say that that move is included when you press and hold /\ because if you hold it the enemy will get swiped into the air but the L + x is much faster because that's all it really does. To tell you the truth, I have no idea why it was taken out. Maybe stupid people would get the combos mixed up because it includes the jump button.

On another note, does anyone know why the L + o combo with the Gauntlet only glows running forward and you can't do anything to the enemies with it. I know it "To cover ground quickly" but come on now. It just seems like Kratos is actually about to do something with it and then he stops. If you're going to make it so the aerial version of the same attack does damage then why not both?

Oh, Joey102, just for the record, just because they removed a move, doesn't mean it's gay. It may be weird that they did that but I don't see how it's gay. Unless your topic was saying that God of War is weird and happy. Which then only makes slight sense.

after you press L + O with the gauntlet, you can press /\ to send the guys in the air, or i believe its [] to give them a powerful punch

They also took out the chains sticking into the ground and pushing off when you do the double attack where he jumps into the air a little bit higher than normal. I thought it looked really cool in the demo but apparently they didn't like the look of it so now he just jumps into the air like a normal jump but a little bit higher.

sorry i read ur reply a little late but yeah thx IedwardsIII. dont get me wrong I only said its gay cuz i really like that move especially when u do it in the air, but other than that GOW is my best psp title even though its short. quote: i wished ready at dawn would of just finish the other stages in that lil clip- the lost stages i think in the treasures menu

It's cool joey102. That kind of stuff just gets annoying when you see it on the forums 24/7. Especially when you have a neighbor who comes over every couple of days to play games online and whenever he gets killed (which is often) he says "That was so racist." Yeah, god of war was a good game but I do also wish they had put those levels in, even if they didn't make any sense (you know, sort of like an extras thing in another game menu) because those levels did look interesting. I wouldn't have minded killing that nessie look a like. If only good things could last longer.
