question on SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2..

I put in the iso in my psp and I tried to play online but it says there is an update..is it for the game or the psp?? I didn't download it cause I didn't want a problem with my modded psp. can someone tell me if its cool to download this??

i think the update isn't for your firmware it has to do with the game probably cuz thats what i heard for final fantasy

im pretty sure its a patch for the online.
i remember seeing it on my PS3 scrolling in the information bar.
