can any one tell me whether or not they have been able to get res evil 3 working on there psp, the game loads but just gets stuck on the screen
"this game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore" this is my favourite
game of all time on psx and i,m gagging to get it to work on my psp,
i,m running cfw 3.93, used auto popstation and psx2psp,
also tried alcohol 120 and ice tea and both get stuck in same place, please help if you can,,

alcohol rips cds and emulates the images as a disc drive maybe your disc is screwed up or try to use a psx emulator for the pc to try it out

Im running CFW 3.80 M33 and the game gets stuck also after the movie scene on New game. I need help also. Im running 380m33 popsloader and it still freezes

I dont know about you guys but 3.71 m33 is the best for psx games.

i have tried all cfw,s from 3.71 m33 i have also downgraded all the way back to 1.50 then onto 3.40 oe and i cant get res evil 2 or 3 to work, res evil 2 crashes at the police station and res evil 3 crashes at the violence screen,
there is also a post on here for res evil 2, and instructions i have followed to the letter and also tried all pops and still i cant get them to work, they work fine on the pc emulater,

I downloaded Resident Evil 3 a while back from this link,my new phat is on 3.80m33 and it works perfect.my old psp that i dont use anymore is still on 3.03oe-c

what the hell, i keep seeing videos on you tube of people playin res evil 2
and nemises, i am green with jealous envy i can not get these games to work i have tried everything from down grading right the way back and trying every cfw and every pops known to the entire human race, i just dont understand what the hell is going on, please please please HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP

Is there something in the forum rules about proper grammer and punctuation? That post seriously made my head hurt.

I was able to get Resident Evil 3 working just fine, though I never played through the entire game on the PSP. I've heard of it working for some people, but freezing at certain points. I'll boot it up tonight and try to post what version it's working with. Or at least what version gets past the "extreme violence and gore" screen.

Ok i have answered this question before... i would have answered it earlier but i didn't see this thread until now...

I hope that u have installed popsloader like every1 has been saying.. it will save u from downgrading and upgrading ur PSP constantly which is just riduculous... if the youtube video for popsloader was not easy enough to follow then please follow the link in my sig which reads 'step by step popsloader installation guide'.. i wrote the guide for people who have no idea wat to do so it is litterally step by step instructions which u can not go wrong with...

after you have done all that

Resident evil 2:
please remake ur resident evil 2 eboot and use this as the GameID SLPS-01222.. after u have done that then run it on pops 3.40

Resident evil 3:
again use the GameID SLPS-01222 this is to avoid Clock Tower game freeze. To avoid game freeze after getting the firehose, instead of going directly to the alley, go back to the parking lot to deposit the hose in the chest. Now go directly to the alley (without the fire hose) and then there you withdraw the hose skipping the door where the game freezes.

try all of that and ur games should run...

JUST SO THAT EVERYONE IS CLEAR,, i have every pops enabled from 3.00 to 3.72 have recently added3.80 pops from dax,s site nothing works, it freezes on violence screen, i have used autopopstation 3 and 4 iso buster psx2psp easy popstation gui by zinga burger various other popstations i have changed game save and game id,s to slps 01222 there was also another game id to use slms 015xx nothing works i cant get this damn thing to work, i see people playin these games that i love so much on you tube, i,m about to curl up in a ball and die,------ SO FRUSTRATED NOW------

DOES THE PAL E VERSION WORK FOR CONVERTING OR DO I NEED NTSC VERSION, I HAVE ALSO ON THE EASY POPSTATION PATCHED THE EBOOT FROM PAL TO NTSC AND IT STILL WONT WORK, I AM AT MY WITS END,
