Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG English+Charecter Import

This is a Guide For Patching you ISO of MHP2ndG (Cant Patch a UMD)
and Also converting you GameSave Region so you can Import you MHF2 Chrecter


Things you WILL Need:
A Modded PSP with 1.5 Kernal (Or Time Machine for Slim)

Translation Items:
The Patcher +Patch - http://www.teamhgg.org/PapimeruPSPv2.2.zip
And The Monter Hunter Portable 2nd G ISO - RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

And The Save Coversion Items:
Laboko 101 - RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
ULUS10266.lbc (US) - RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
ULES00851.lbc (EUR) - RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
Only download the .lbc for the Region your save is in
You MHF2 Save
A Japanese MHF2 Save (Hit GAme FAQS)
(Make thouse your only saves on you MS, too many (More than 5)
Will make Laboko Crash)

Run Laboko once, and it will make a folder called Laboko on you MS root (Automaticly)
once it starts EXIT laboko and Enable Umd from your XMB
Put you .lbc file in the Ms0:\laboko\code\ Folder
Run Laboko
Select Menu Option 2


Choose your Game Save (US/EUR)


Option 4, then wait a few Seconds


Exit Loboko and Look on your MS root, there should be a .bin file either
ULUS10266.BIN (US) or ULES00851.BIN (EUR)
Rename it to ULJM05156.BIN (Jap)

now, to put it into the Japanees save

Run Laboko
option 2


Choose the Japaneese MHF2 File


Option 5


And your done, you US/EUR MHF2 Save is now a Jap file, and can be
played on your new MHP2ndG

i am having a problem i dont think its got anything to do with the save file. when i go on to import character from monster hunter freedom 2, i scroll though to the point where it says "do not remove memory card(the last pop up before you pick which character you want to copy, i think) but nothing appears the game doesnt crash nor the psp but nothing happens no loading page just the background. can anyone help?

Your file might be in CSO, convert it to ISO.

no it is an ISO (my third one), i can not seem to get it to work, which sucks becuase i have been after this since i heard it was coming out. can anyone help me

oh should probably point out the game works in everyway other than this one transfer bit, i just dont want my 200+ hours to be repeated. so help will be greatly apricated

I'm running 3.90 M33-3 firmware and I can get Laboko to start but I get error code 80010002 after PSP screen, I think it's not installed right but I don't know how to correct this, help please?
