i have a psp game and when i start to play it their is a message that states:
the game could not be started (80020148/code)..

i want to play this game badly..T_T

Does it require an update? Switch to the m33 driver. Maybe you should actually buy the umd.

Try this i had the same problem

Here do this:

1.Turn psp on
2. Hit select
3. Change UMD ISO Mode to M33 driver or the one that starts with an S

LOL!

What version do you have? If it's a CFW, Go to the VSH Menu by pressing Home or Select on your XMB, depending on what version you have.

Switch UMD ISO MODE to m33 Driver or Sony NP9660.

If this didn't work, try formating your memory stick.

Maybe your game is in the wrong folder. Put it in the folder "ISO" on the root of your stick.

EDIT:

Maybe you actually are using a UMD, and you don't have a custom firmware o_o.
Scratched UMD I guess?
