MHP2G HP Hack

So I've got CWCheat on my PSP mostly so I can use an HP Hack for MHP2G and now I can't seem to get either of the two provided in the database for CWCheat to work. I turn on all the parts for the cheat then hit L+Select to activate it and the game freezes.

I'm running an ISO of the game and I have TeamHGG's patch if that makes any difference.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I dont use cheats on monster hunter. Its the only game I dont use it for, it just seems evil so I can't help you out but sooner or later someone will. But last time i checked when did you have to press L+Select to use a cheat, all you do is hold select enable then go back to game....

Hmm I also have cwcheat but I just press and hold select in the town until the menu pops up. Choose what I want on then exit like normal. Only thing that requires L+select is actually making the hp hack appear after it has been turned on.

That's the only cheat I want, I tested with some others to make sure CW Cheat was working properly and other ones have worked fine.

I turn on all 12 parts of the HP Display 3.1 cheat, then I enable cheats from the main menu, and then I go to fight a monster and hit L+Select to turn on the HP Display and the game freezes.

My psp isn't on me at the moment but when I do get it I can pm or post the code I'm using. I deleted the hp hack that was given in the database as it didn't work. The one I have just shows monster hp though. There's another (and probably several) that show cats hp and much more data, but I don't need all that extra stuff

^^^ This is the one I'd prefer to have, but at this point I won't be picky.

Does anyone know if using an ISO makes any difference?

hahahaha yea way too much clutter for me :-p I ended up using iso as cso makes the game lag especially when entering rooms. As for implementing cwcheat.. shouldn't matter.

I like to know the stagger limits...especially for Naruga when I'm trying to get spikes by breaking his tail =\

I use an ISO because Team HGG's patch only works on ISOs...

ahh I see I see. Yea those tails were a pain to get but knowing the limits kinda sucks the fun out of it for me. Getting those lao heavenly scales on the other hand... ewwwww. I ended up using the endoftimes patch and it works on cso and iso.
