Ok, so basically I'm trying to get Final Fanstay 8 ( 9 if possible) to work on a CFW PSP, what Firmware should I use? I read 3.90 m33-2 doesn't seem to work, and I'd like to know if there's a Firmware that would work for both FF8 AND FF9.
If anyone has these games and could help me out, that would be great!

You could always try popsloader and try out different firmwares with it and see which one works best. I used to have FF8 working well but I forgot which firmware I used.

Definitely popsloader. Here is a list of what version of pops works best for which games.

If you're asking how to rip and convert the file in the first place KhAoSxChAoS made a great guide (How to rip a PSX game and convert it to an EBOOT) that I used to rip FFVII and Vagrant Story.

Oh, and as far as what firmware to use, I would suggest just using the most current m33 (5.00 m33 - 6) because popsloader will let you choose which psx emulator (which psp firmware) to run your psx game on.
