Do what every other sane person does: download it and back it up somewhere. I keep all my backups on my comp and also on a separate external hard drive in case either one gets messed up somehow, not to mention I have all my best on my psp. Losing one of them isn't a worry since I still have the other two.

Lame, yes. They do that on purpose to make more money. Probably figure that some people will either lose the games so many times or try to distribute the download, so they eventually will make you pay for it again if it's what you want.

That may be so, but if you're downloading the game off PSN, unless there's something I don't know, it should act like any other ISO or Eboot would for CFW. I don't deal with PSN, I make my own Eboots from my PSX games. Cheaper that way.. xD

Yeah, but for some reason PSN games work better than self-made ones. That's why I bought FF VII from PSN because I don't want to have problems in the middle of the game.

Missed my point.
For me: I can use a self-made version
For you: You use the PSN version.
For both of us: Can back up any single file any number of times and use it incase the original file currently in posession is deleted or lost, or if any file on any of the areas where it is saved is deleted or lost.

I wans't suggesting that you use a homemade game, but that for the same reason as I back up all my stuff, you should be able to do the same with the PSN download. S'all.
