Can you download PSN games into two PSPs?

Hi there, I'm planning to buy FF VII off PSN.
I just want to know if I buy the game and download it using my slim, will I be able download it into my phat using the same account?

You should be able to. The PSN Store lets you download the same item 4 times.

Also, would that be illegal if I also download the game into my friends' PSP who don't have the game?
I feel that it's a waste if I don't use all 4 chances.

Yeah, it's illegal. Despite what we say, you'll end up putting it on there anyways.

Also, i don't think the 4x item applies to the psp, though i could be wrong.

anyhow i don t think you should waste out all your downloads something could happens and you may need to redownload.

Well, i think you can copy it over to as many psp's as you want if you remove the license on it.

So if you buy something on PSN, you can only download it 4 times before you would have to buy it again? That sounds pretty lame. But again, how often would you need to download it?

If you really care to see if it's illegal or not read the license. It might say something about a limit to how many PSP's you can put it on.

Unless you had to log in to the PSN to use anything you download there isn't a perfect system to protect against piracy.

I've decided not to download the game into my friends' console.
I think danos' right, I might need to redownload if something happens.

So if you bought a copy of a game in UMD format and the game store said you had won 3 extra copies, would giving 1 to your friends be piracy?

If i bought a game on PSN and knew i had 4 copies left, id download 4 copies! its my right and as its allowed id do it.

You bought it, you're free to do whatever you want with it, so no. It wouldn't be.

I find that kinda stupid that you can only Download it 4 times... i mean you bought it, its your now so you should be able to download all you want like Steam but just need to be logged into the account you know. I find that a Huge flaw, unless i missing something im kinda hesitant about buying off PSN now.

i think u can download it on the same psp 4times. the psps macaddress or somethin might get registered with their server. dont u think?
