Okay gang, so I've installed my emulators just like I did when it was 1.5, same files, and its not working. Psp says 'cannot play game'. I'm trying to use SNE9TYL and DGEN. After I unzip them, both the regular and % files go into the GAME directory. What gives?

they dont go in the game folder they go in the game150 folder if you dont have one make one and drop the emulators in there.

I've got a PSP with 2.60 Sony firmware and a TA-082 motherboard. Will 3.40 OE-A work on it? I know the firmware is ok, I'm wondering if the motherboard is ok. If so, do I need to upgrade to 3.03 and downgrade to 1.5 then get 3.40 OE-A, or is there a faster way? Can I just downgrade straight to 1.5? Can I just go straight from 2.60 to 3.40 OE-A? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to update to 2.71 and use the 2.71 easy downgrader for the TA-082 motherboard. If you update to 3.03, you will need an unpatched copy of GTA. The 2.71 downgrader is way easier. Once you run the downgrader, you'll be at 1.50 and ready to install custom firmware. Your psp and motherboard are fine, but there is no shortcut. Gotta update, downgrade, install custom firmware.

Thanks. I should've mentioned that I have the unpatched GTA game. I used it on a different PSP to go from 3.03 to 1.5, but that one wasn't a TA-082 motherboard. Thanks for your help though.

The 2.71 downgrader section in the downgrader thread is very unclear. I think I'll just update to 3.03 and downgrade from there.

I went from 2.8>3.03>1.5 and copied the 303oeflasher and 303oeflasher% to my PSP>GAME inside the game file. got out the 3.03 OE-C firmware icon was on my psp I clicked on it to install and everything was going great. it went to the leading screen said to hit x to continue but before I could the psp restarted and didnt install a thing. Im I missing something I been looking around at other posts with nothing helping out. thnx

maybe the dxar file is bad try redownloading it.

I think is was that or bad DL reDL'it and worked fine. Just if no game is inserted it takes me to the reovery menu everytime.

WOW this is confusing, i currently have 3.03 and i want to have 3.03 OE-C!!! so i can hack

. Its says right there in Justing post. 3.03 OE-C easy installer!!!
But i just links me to a lot of different things. I saw Julie's post and still, i only find downgrades to 1.50. No upgrades or downgrades to 3.03 OE-C!!

Then i go to PSP's post.... and he says the same thing!! 3.03 OE-C easy installer. It links me to a page where i dont find anything. Then i look down and go to Julie's where i cant find anything about installing 3.03 OE-C.....

I got Burnout Legends with a 2.00 update or patch just like GTA LTC.
Can i use that game in order to downgrade my 3.03 to 1.5?

GTA is the only game you can use for the downgrader. There is a bug in the unpatched GTA that allows the downgrader to run, no other game has this bug.
