Default 3.40 OE-A Custom Firmware Installation Tutorial (EASY Installer Included)

I just upgraded to 3.40 OE and I don't see any of the new features such as video thumbnails, rss thumbnails, or the wireless T mobile hotspot. What can I do to get these features?

...

YES! 3.40 OE-A supports all the customization and features of 3.03 OE-C! I believe this has already been said like 20 times in other threads, so please stop asking!

Anyone?? Does it have to do with the file structure on the memory card?

EDIT: I just found out from the official sony website that 3.4 is an update to 3.3. It won't add the features I mentioned from scratch. So, I guess install 3.30 OE-A first, then 3.40 OE-A? Am I correct? if so, can i just put in an easy installer for 3.30 OE a without going back to 1.5 from 3.4 OE?
Thanks

Yeah 3.03 OE-C was my beloved firmware but with autoboot back... 3.40 is my firmware now, has all 3.03 OE-C has PLUS everything 3.10 / 3.30 and 3.40 have.

Remember 3.40 has EVERY single feature lower custom firmware have. So your not losing a thing. and no, nothing to do with the file structure on mem card.

AilVenue: Right now 3.40 OE.. Is the best Firmware without a doubt, the ONLY thing is that you have to "convert" 3.03 Icons into 3.40 .. Like we all know

Good luck.!

Thanks for replying. However, I don't have any of the features introduced in 3.30. Can I use the eeasy installer to go from 3.40 OE to 3.30 oe? My plan is:

3.40 OE->3.30 OE->3.40 OE, if it is possible.

you need to recover to 1.5 then go to 3.30, then recover to 1.5 again then go to 3.40

Ok before I do that, is there any way to save all of my info such as wireless pass codes, nick names, and bookmarks?

Thanks

You have to convert the icons into 3.40 compatible... You cant use standard icons on 3.40 or your xmb will freeze. AKA "semi brick"

It will automatically "DELETE" everything you have in your PSP.. so back up your theme or whatever you have becasue as soon as you install 3.40 ... you'll have NO themes.

And dont worry you can run the flashes with all the customizations you have on right now. Nothing will happen. the flashes deletes everything if you have custom stuff or not whatsoever.

Good luck ^^
