Default A big problem.

Hello,

Lets start with a long time ago I was a moron and I upgraded to firmware i could not downgrade. For the sake of homebrew I traded in my games, the psp, and some other things and got a used PSP, with firmware I was able to downgrade.

I upgraded it to Alex's 3.40 OE-A.
My friend got a PSP so we decided to buy a game we could both play on WiFi.

I did not have the games at the time...
Today I bought a game (Grand Theft Auto:Liberty City Stories) and ... It will not work on my PSP. My friends PSP plays the game fine.

The video of the game plays at the Games Menu, but when I click on the Icon to start the game, it kind of starts, but then goes back to the regular screen with the error message:

"The game could not be started.
(80020148)"

I was thinking my PSP wasn't working right (which obviously it isn't) so I thought of looking for the most recent update of custom firmware. I installed the 3.52 M33 along with the -2 update. Which makes my firmware 3.52 M33-2.

Alas - the game will still not play and keeps showing me the same error message... How do I fix this? : )

The UMD I bought from the store.

My UMD worked on his PSP. But even his GTA UMD doesn't work on my PSP. So it can't be the UMD. It's something with my PSP.

Okay another problem. Everytime I set my own background(pic) - the game won't start and I have to turn off my psps and change the recovery menu again, which seems to reset every time I set one of the pictures as a background. After I restart from recovery menu with the right settings to play the game (UMD) the psp restarts and has the old (blue) retarded background, which if I change starts this process all over again.

Please advise : )

Do you know a particular topic other than this one that this is mentioned in? If it a more active topic, please post a link so I can follow. But if this is the only one, those who have some information on solving this dilemma would be appreciated if shared.

Thank you : )
