Dont mess with it unless you know what you are doing, if it gets messed up then you will brick your psp, which is why you should do always if you get the option back it up.

Its where you put files to change themes and icons etc, but its very easy to mess things up.

Your psp nand, is basically your psp brain. It's the flash where everything is stored, making a "nand dump" is a COMPLETE backup of your psp, just not like flash0 etc..

It's not only used for a slim, that's just plain stupid.

You should dump the nand for better protection as that's the complete backup, and yes the slims need it more, as thats mainly their only protection against a brick.

Yes...you can always go back to how it was before you started messing with it, so always make a back up before you do anything just to be safe.

So what if you were in 3.73 OFW and then Downgraded it to 1.5 without Backing Up the NAND, then upgrading it to 3.71M33-4

Will I be still able to backup the NAND after that?

Cause I've messed around with the custom themes, (Haven't Bricked my PSP YET)

BUT I BACKED UP MY FLASH0 AND MY FLASH1

JUST TO BE SAFE...

Nice to see you do that....thats forward thinking...

Yes you can back up the nand whenever you insert a pandoras battery, so you could do a backup before the 1.5 downgrade then when you are on 3.71m33-4 insert the pans battery and backup without doing a downgrade.

now i kept my MMS and pandora batt just in case sumthing bad happen... so when i load it again, do i have to dump nand again or just install m333.71?
