under the 3.80M33-2 1.50 patch, everything is underlined and my OCD is kicking into overdrive. can you fix that pls? thanks. Great guide btw. I just upgraded to 3.90M33 w/ the 1.50v2 patch and I haven't had a problem yet.

i cant seem to get rid of it, i delete the writing and take away the fonts and that stuff but the red writing just stays

ummm do u have to install each update seperately or can u be in 3.8om33-1and use the network update to update directly to 3.90 ...? does this come with or without the 1.50 patch? im updating to 3.9 as i type ...( i know im askin for danger)

well in the readme it shows the instructions, for what ffirmare this update is compatiable with. you can for example update from 3.52m33 to 3.52m33-4 and then to 3.90m33-2

Quick Question before I proceed with this update...

I am on 3.52 M33-4 currently on my fat psp...

I started to follow the guide and everything is working. I see the m33 psp update 3.71 on my menu...

I click to install and it starts up like normally like all other upgrades meaning the black screen with little white letters.

verifying 371.PBP ... ok
verifying umodule.prx... ok

Press x to start the update, R to exit...

So when I press x to update it goes to what looks like some official Sony System Software Version 3.71 screen...

Now is this normal and should I continue or what ??? I have never seen a custom firmware update like this before... Is this right??? I dont want to be upgrade to a OEM firmware and hose my PSP... I have had this thing since they first came out with the original 1.50 firmware... I just not sure if I should continue or not ...

you need to be on 3.52m33-3 or higher to install this
Get 3.90m33 here Dark-AleX - PSP Developer
get ofw 3.90 eboot here PSP Downloads | 3.90 Firmware Update

- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 3.90 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "390.PBP".
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

i did this right... but when i install... is jus say please wait and it heng there... i useing 3.52m 33-4

you need to set the homebrew game folder to 3.52 in the recovery menu, i had the same problem

heyright now went from 2.0 and dowgraded to 1.5 and updated to 3.52. i did the following for isntalling the 'm33' update. i didnt have the /game150/ folder so i made one 'X:/PSP/GAME150/' . from there on i have no idea what to do. what is the xmb? what do i run on GAME > Memory Stick?
i ran the m33update but it says could not be started. any help greatly appreciated.

hi guys,

I have a problem. Trying to go from 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71M33.

When I run the 3.71 update program it checked 371.pbp and then says error in keys so I press X to fix them. It then moves on to the next stage when after 2 seconds my screen goes off, it then comes back on with an error something technical about contactic support, behind that screen I can see an update screen, but it doesn't let me go on it after I have pressed X on the error screen.

I have set my Kernel to 3.52
I have no UMD in, and have it set to use M33 - no UMD driver

Directory structure is:

X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\371.PBP
X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\EBOOT.PBP
X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\ummodule.prx

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
