Default step by step-1.50 to 3.90m33 guide

Greatest guide i've ever found. Amazingly smooth installation from:

2.60 Firmware Downgrade to 1.50 using GTA: LCS

Followed everything here and am now at 3.90 M33. Thanks a million.

Firmware Installed: 3.40 oe a

Default step by step-1.50 to 3.90m33 guide

from the guide:
Installation for an OE/M33 firmware
Installing 3.52 Custom Firmware on an OE or a M33 PSP:

o Copy the folder 'M33CREATOR' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/' on your PSP's memory stick.
o Download the official 3.52 update: PSP Downloads | PSP 3.52 Firmware Update and rename to 352.PBP.
o Copy the 352.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
o Download the official 1.50 update: RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting and rename to 150.PBP.
o Copy the 150.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
o Execute '3.52 M33 CREATOR' under GAME on your PSP.
o Then execute '3.52 M33UPDATE' under GAME on your PSP.
o Once finished, press X.
o Have fun on 3.52 Custom Firmware!

-----
I have a 3.40 OE-A,
but I don't have X:/PSP/GAME150/ folder, should i just create it?

Default step by step-1.50 to 3.90m33 guide

Hello,

I am having a strange problem, and was hoping someone here could help.

I am using a fat psp currently running 3.40OE-A and I am trying to upgrade to 3.52 M33-4

I run the "3.52 M33 Creator" and its seems to work fine.
However when I run "3.52 M33Update" the screen goes black for about 3 seconds then return to the PSP menu.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any insight would be great. Thanks.

Default step by step-1.50 to 3.90m33 guide

Hi dude

very clear and straightforward guide, but i seem to have this problem no matter who's instructions i follow.

I have firmware 3.40 oe-a and on my memory stick i have GAME not game150
so i placed all the files in here to run them otherwise my psp doesnt pick them up.

Then i get this error 'The game could not be started (50020148)'

I dont get it, i have GTA in my umd slot just incase it needs that but im completely lost.

help please

Have you downgraded to 1.50? Good luck getting a response here...no one seems to want to help here. Maybe we are posting in wrong area?

Don't know what I did to get it to work...but the guide finally worked for me. Guess I downloaded the wrong file(s) or something. Good guide. I am now running 3.90-2. Thanks.

You're not supposed to put it in the GAME folder. You should create a folder titled "GAME150" and put the files in there. I have very little to no knowledge of the OE series of CFW's but the same idea is recurring in the M33 series. Also, be sure to get the 1.5 patch for whatever M33 CFW you get.

@mjdelson: No, you guys are in the right place, it's just that maybe the people who frequent this forum don't know how to help and are trying to save space in the thread for more vital things than "I don't know" or the like. I know if I knew the answer to your problems, I would help in a heartbeat. ...wow, I really have no life...
