Stock psp to custom firmware: HELP!

Hey guys, im new to this site, and i have an old PSP, the bulck/fat one.

i customised it top to bottom.

my friends keep yappin to install custom firmware on it, but i dont know how.

my PSP has the original software installed on it. Ive been all over the internet, and i cant find how to install custom firm ware on it

I already downloaded 3.53 M33 thingie and it wont let me install it. It says "The game can not be started."

im sure i did everything right, and the only thing i have doubts about is that my PSP is stock.

on those videos it tells me that i need to have Custom firmware installed on the system before i can install 3.53 M33 version. i dont know how to get custom firmware.

somebody, please help me :*(

first of all....what firmware are you running at the moment fella? you may need to take it all the way back to 1.5 before installing a custom firmware....i can help, just drop me a line or PM me.
