Default From 3.71 M33-2 to ?

Just recently made pandora's battery to get out of 3.03 firmware to 3.71 M33-2. I'm most likely looking to get the latest update (3.80 M33-5) but I need to know which updates to do to lead up to it. Also, I could use anyone's opinion on which is the best and latest version for playing emulators/homebrews/psx games.

Thanks.

*Oh and I'd also appreciate it if someone could explain to me what a 1.50 kernel is and why someone would need one.

I haven't updated to 3.80m33 yet because a few of my psx games (mainly FFVII) stopped working on that version. But I think perhaps if I utilize popsloader (it wont load off my lexar card) it may work again.

Basically my point here is that if you find it to be fully functional for you, I would recommend 3.80m33
