What exactly is the root of the memory stick? Where is it located? in the PSP folder?

I searched around and found that the root of the mem stick is actually the PSP itself.

I put the popsloader in E:/SEPLUGINS, but it is not there when I go to "plugins" in recovery console...

Ok, first off, the root isn't a folder, or thing really. It's really just open space. If you just "drag" something into your Memory Stick, not in any folders, then it's in the "Root". Second, make a .txt file, (Notepad) and name it "pops". Inside this text file, type: ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx - Put this .txt file in your seplugins folder.

EDIT: When you download the "SEPLUGINS" file, there is three files. Copy/Paste all three of them to your seplugins folder, which you make in the "Root" of your Memory Stick. I would of said this before, but when I actually downloaded it, it had everything done for you. =]

here's some weirdness. i enabled popsloader, started up an eboot i made of ogre battle, chose to use my system instead of one of the previous pops, and it froze. i booted in recovery, disabled popsloader, ran the game again and it played fine. weird.

I believe I have everything in order in the SEPLUGINS folder and I have popsloader enabled in recovery but when I try to fire up a PSX Eboot it just goes straight into the game without prompting me to choose a FW.

I am also running Custom Firmware Extender 2.2...could this be the culprit? Disabling it in recovery doesn't work.

I could use some expert advice
