actually i have already did that.. set to off the UMD Auto-Start in system settings but when i turning off- on my psp, the loading is still there.. i also tried to select the "format flash 1 and reset settings" on recovery menu but the xmb still not appearing because of the loading scene. i even "restore the default setting of my psp in xmb menu" but u guess.. no success...

do anyone else know how to solve my problem?

i also tried to set the parental level to 1 (i've read it in another forum) but no luck.. please help

no.. it's still set to OFF.. i've already changing the m33 driver to "sony np9960" but no luck.. i can still use my psp it just that i need to open the umd door so that this loading will stop and my xmb will appear (but when i close it, it will start again loading though UMD AUTOSTART already set to OFF)... but anyway, even if it is that way.. i can still use the unit...

do u think it's ok?.. opening the umd door? does it affects something? will it brick my psp?

Opening the UMD Door when you start up your PSP?
No, won't hurt it...just be a hassle.

Having the UMD Door open when you turn on your PSP is the same as if you didn't have a UMD in the tray when you turn it on.

hiya!.. i've gone to the person hu updates my psp.. he said there's something inside my umd tray that is "stuck" when closing it thus the psp considered it there's umd present on there but as far as i know.. i haven't done anything in there so i really don't know what he means "there's something stuck" anywhich way, the autobooting is gone.. it's perfect like before...

but.... it came back after an hour or so.. my bad i haven't ask him what he did to "unstuck" watever inside the umd tray..

so please if anyone here who knows wat this thing please help me...

There is a switch inside the UMD area. When the UMD is inside the tray, it presses down the switch and lets the system know there is a UMD there.
